Terms and Conditions
By requesting to book one of the properties managed by Pure Leisure Rentals, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Rental Agreement. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, fair, and enjoyable experience for all guests and property owners.
1. Booking and Fees
A. Booking
- All reservations must be made through authorized online travel agencies, specifically Airbnb.com or Booking.com.
- Direct website bookings are not available; our website serves only for informational purposes, inquiries, and customer support.
- All listings, pricing, and availability are managed through a professional channel manager integrated with a secure payment processor to ensure safe payment processing, system synchronization, and efficient refund handling.
B. Fees
- A cleaning fee of $300 applies to each stay.
- Some properties may require a refundable damage deposit equal to one night’s stay, which will be clearly stated on the listing.
- Any applicable taxes, surcharges, or platform fees are displayed during checkout on the booking platform.
2. Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
All payment and cancellation policies are displayed on each property listing and are managed in accordance with the terms of Airbnb.com, Booking.com, and Pure Leisure Rentals.
A. Booking Platform Payments
Guests complete the payment directly with the booking platform. The booking platform collects and securely holds the payment until the guest completes their stay. After checkout, the payout is released to Pure Leisure Rentals. An additional 10% service fee charged by the platform covers payment handling, booking protection and customer support.
Booking Platform Rate Plans and Cancellation Terms
- Guests pay a deposit equal to the first night’s stay at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance is charged on the check in date.
- Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before check in.
- If canceled within 7 days of check in, the first night’s stay will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- Refunds and cancellations are processed directly by the booking platform according to its policies and timelines.
This option ensures full platform protection and automated, verified transactions.
B. Direct Host Payments
All communication and booking confirmation remain within the booking platform’s official message system to ensure transparency and compliance with each platform’s hosting guidelines. Guests receive a secure payment link, generated by our team and sent through the booking platform chat and by email.
- A variety of payment methods are available, including credit card, debit card or bank transfer.
- After successful payment, guests automatically receive a digital invoice and payment receipt.
- This payment option continues to be covered by the booking platform’s guest protection policy, since all records and communications remain within the verified platform.
- Guests who select this option benefit from lower rates, because booking platform payment handling fees do not apply.
Host Rate Plans and Cancellation Terms
Genius Rate
- Guests receive up to a 15% discount compared to the Standard Rate.
- A deposit equal to the first night’s stay is required within 30 days before check in.
- The remaining balance is charged on the check in date.
- Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before check in.
- For cancellations made within 7 days of check in, a cancellation fee equal to one night’s stay will apply.
- Refunds, when applicable, are issued to the original payment method within 1–3 business days after approval, and banks generally apply funds within 5–10 business days.
Promotional Rate
- Guests receive up to a 35% discount compared to the Standard Rate.
- Full payment is required within 30 days before check in to confirm the reservation.
- Free cancellation is available up to 7 days before check in.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of check in are non refundable.
- In exceptional cases, Pure Leisure Rentals may offer a one time courtesy date change, based on availability, without issuing a refund.
Guests are encouraged to review the Cancellation Policy before finalizing their reservation.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-In: 4:00 PM
- Check-Out: 12:00 PM
- Late Check-Out: Unauthorized late departures that prevent cleaning staff from accessing the property will incur a $300 fee.
- Self Check-In: Guests will receive instructions, a digital welcome book, and emergency contact details via email three (3) days before arrival.
4. Property Use and Restrictions
- No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all properties. A $500 fine applies for violations.
- No Parties or Events: Parties, gatherings, or commercial events are not permitted without prior written approval.
- Noise: Noise levels must remain reasonable, particularly after 10:00 PM.
- Respect for Property: Guests must use the property responsibly and ensure it remains in good condition for future guests.
Violations may result in immediate eviction without refund.
5. Repairs, Maintenance, and Access
- Repairs: Pure Leisure Rentals will arrange repairs as soon as possible after notification. Authorized maintenance personnel may enter the property during reasonable hours to perform necessary work.
- Refunds for Repairs: No refunds or rebates are provided for time required to complete maintenance or repairs.
- Access Rights: Company representatives or licensed professionals may enter the property for maintenance, inspection, or safety purposes when necessary.
6. Personal Items and Additional Policies
- Personal Items: Lost or forgotten items can be returned upon request at the guest’s expense. Additional shipping or handling fees may apply.
- Professional Photography or Videography: Not permitted without prior written authorization.
- Noise Violations: Excessive noise or disruption after 10:00 PM may result in a $500 fine or immediate eviction.
- Additional Charges: Rates do not include daily maid service, gratuities, car rental, food, beverages, or excessive cleaning fees (e.g., upholstery or carpet shampooing).
7. Limitation of Liability
Pure Leisure Rentals is not responsible for any loss, expense, damage, or injury resulting from:
- Delays, rescheduling, or cancellations beyond our control.
- Acts of nature, power outages, or weather-related issues.
- Injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from negligence or misuse of facilities or equipment.
Guests assume all risks associated with such activities. In the event of disruption, Pure Leisure Rentals will make every reasonable effort to provide comparable accommodations or solutions.
8. Condition of Rental
Guests must return the property in the same condition as upon check-in, with normal wear and tear excepted. Pure Leisure Rentals or its authorized representatives may enter the property to inspect, perform repairs, or ensure compliance with safety standards. Guests are required to report any damage, fire, or incident immediately.
9. Privacy Policy
- Personal Information: Collected solely for processing reservations and providing property management services.
- Data Security: Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal data from unauthorized access or misuse.
- Use of Information: Information is used only for operational purposes and never shared with third parties without consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes or proceedings arising from these terms will be resolved in the county where the property is located.
Policy Changes
Pure Leisure Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any significant changes in advance. By booking with Pure Leisure Rentals, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
